Thanksgiving generally means two things - turkey and football. Why not skip the games on television and head out to cheer on youth football teams from across the country as they compete to take home the title in the Gulf Coast Youth Football Classic. This tournament will take place November 27-November 29 at both the Gulf Shores Sportsplex and Foley High School.

On November 29, you’ll be able to run off that turkey weight when you participate in the 2014 Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals Coastal Half Marathon and5K Run. This week-long event will be played on the fields at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Don’t miss your chance to see all the dribbles, kicks and goals at this exciting event.

The last event on deck will be held on December 13. How about grabbing some peanuts and Cracker Jacks before taking yourself out to the ballgame? The USSSA Baseball All-Stars from around the state of Alabama will be competing right here in Orange Beach. The 2014 USSSA Fall Alabama State Baseball Tournament will be held at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.
