The beauty of digital photography is you can store pictures—lots of pictures—pretty much anywhere you want: on your computer, online, or just on the memory card physically stored away somewhere. Long gone are the days of shoeboxes stuffed with photographs and stacked in a closet somewhere.
Sporting events simply lend themselves to photographs. Event participants often like to have visual keepsakes from the experience, and you never know when you might capture that great-game moment that so often happens in sports.
And if you happen to capture one of those great sporting moments during a sports event in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area, you can post the pictures in the Alabama Gulf Coast Sports Commission’s website for others to see.
